ok, first off, the 350z is a badass car, but i don't recomend a rwd for a first car specially in florida. second of all i don't think getting good grades and working part time at a mcdonalds to pay for gas is merit enough for a car worth 21k, 5k maybe but not 21. i say this, because i work full time bustin my ass outside 40 hours a week and i can barely afford gas after all my bills. why do i do it? cause i love my car.
thats kinda the point i was getting at, drive whatever you like, not what others vote on...

bah, some parents really do spoil their kids.
I live pretty well off but I made a deal to pay half of what my car costed altogether. Believe it or not, $21,000 is still a pretty expensive tag for a first car, even if you're dropping a measely $3,000 of your own down on it. I'm sure your parents will cover your insurance as well, which is critical.
Enough of that, just know how lucky you are to have an evo as a first, take care of it, don't go racing around thinking you're paul walker. Know not to exceed your limitations first as a driver and when you get better, learn how to reach the potential of the car without going overboard. Work your driving skill up or else I guarantee you'll be coming back with photos of the car in a tree.
