Production engine comparison, get your ass BACK in here!
Continuing where the last thread left off. Previous thread is located here: https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/g...ss-here-4.html
You guys seemed to get back on track in the last thread but apparently it was too little too late. Keep this civilized or I'll make blind threats that lead to nothing being done!
In your opinion, whos building the strongest engines out there right now? Why do you feel that way? What engine(s) currently being produced do you feel offer the strongest platform to build apon?
Tell me what's going to be our next 2JZ's, and RB's. Current production only.
discuss!

Im going to put my 2 cents in.
4G63- Still currently in production, with years of reverse engineering to back it up. Proven paths to serious performance are limited only by the thickness of your billfold.
LS2/LS7- Although assembled in Ontario, this is the pride an joy of american's everywhere (unless your a ford guy). Crazy amount of power from the factory, and good for plenty more. Great power improvement from basic bolt on's. Like the 4G, theres just a ton of aftermarket support and potential.

I listed two engines I feel offer strong platforms to build upon. Each for their own qualities. They aren't being compared to one another.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
Sorry for the rant, I of all people I should've not let something as stupid as that get to me like that , was having a horrible day , VIPER motor or 6.1 HEMI Chrysler is puttin the power back into their motors again. Again sorry Frank, corey, and blue for getting your thread shutdown
