Uhmm, I thought a woman pulled out in front of you, or slammed on her brakes or something? I think YOU'RE the one who should have a Geo Metro. 97 Eclipse to a 91 240? Isn't that like big-boy steps down to baby steps again? You're what... 17? And sound like you're a fucking driving expert. You're 17 or 18 and you're thanking God that they raised the age limit to 18 to legally drive? You make no sense and I now see why you have all of those red dots. You sir, are an idiot.

EDIT: Oh and to stay OT, Get an old Supra, 300ZX, or something along the lines of those that have enough power but decent handling as well. Also consider an 80's BMW 3-Series

and they are not raising it to 18 dont know where you heard that from...you were doing good but then you have to go post shit like that...

and you didnt take baby steps...you took what you could afford..(or your mommy gave you) you know for damn sure if you had a choice you wouldnt have had those other cars...it would have been the 240 first...and you wrecked bc your an idiot...for some reason i find time to avoid EVERY bad situation i find my self in on the road....i read traffic before i get into it..i see who the jackass's are and i see where driving miss daisy is...

oh yea for a first car you should get a mk2 gti or jetta and swap a 12v in it..handles good and is quick...

1g awd DSM, you can get a pretty nice one for under $3000... it will be fast and handle good since it's AWD

240, more potential than a civic later on. easier to upgrade slowly than be stuck with a FWD platform.

240 or a 2nd gen rx7, or a mk3 supra, all are decent platforms, rwd which should definately be a priority, they handle ok stock (the rx7 being the best handling of the bunch) all decently quick, not fast, but they can be. you dont want fast as a first car, you will either kill yourself or someone else. start out slow.

I would vote for what DETriment suggested or a Fox body. All of them are cheap and like any RWD car has a shatload of potential as you have more money to spend on it...
