do you really think he is the only one that has done that. my beater 81 cutlass runs hi 10s I guess that trumps that rag. and my stang II is faster than that and both are cheaply built.

My car was a group effort from all my friends Ive got around $1000 total...And I have not been to the track with it yet but ive beat plenty of cars that run high 11's low 12's......And Im still on stock busted ass suspension and street tire's...And Nchatch ran 11.7 with around $1500 in his car.......And i'll stop there but I could keep going...Point is this happens all the time.And I just think it will be fun to see what people can do for minimal money,When everyone works together..And its a good way for people to meet each other...Cause to work on a car you have to talk to people.Not like at track events or picnics where only people who know each other talk...

I will give 4drwhore $250 dollars if he gets in the 1o's with the car he is building by the end of the year ! How about that for a challenge ?
And I guarantee you our project car will be ready in the next few months with less than $2,000 in the whole project and if it does not go 10's I will personally make sure it does with "donated parts".
Consider this everyones invitation to try and build a forum project car like ours before the end of the year. We have about two weeks on the rest of you so get er' dune !

This thread is dumb, its just bring out the import vs domestic in everyone.
How will you know who wins? Say the stang runs mid 10s, and the honda runs high 10s, but the honda used less money? How will you gauge the ratio of money spent to times?
And im not a honda person, but they are the only people in this thread not talking shit. And to be honest, the mentality of some of you guys baffles me. Scott is the only reasonable ford person in this thread, everyone else is just being a muscle head.
Oh and dont say shit to me about fords, im building one myself.
And a DSM.
