I've owned more imports than domestics..

Import;

I love the styling and nimbleness of most of the cars. I love the interior quality and fact that theres only 4/6 parts as opposed to most domestics 8

Domestic;

I love some of the styling, but I love a raw powered evil looking v8 ramair/cobra more than any "sleek" import

Only jap-port that even looks remotely aggressive in the nose is the R34. Those look insanely mean.

I don't personally want my car to look like a pokemon face (S2k, miata, etc)

Although my Cobra looks like that blue fish from Nemo.

Domestic companies know how to deliver a true sportscar to the U.S. market. This is showing now more than ever with the new C6/Z06 and Cobra. Supercars with bargain prices. Hell the domestic SRT-4 is even at the top of the sport-compact market that the Japanese started. This is not to take anything away from foriegn carmakers, as Subaru and Mitsubishi have delivered with the Sti and EVO, but these are far from supercars. To be honest no Japanese car shows the all-out quest for performance that GM and Ford have put into their new cars.

T56 equipped v8s (aside from roots blown ones like the 03-04 cobras) get about 29-32mpg on the highway.

My h23 Prelude got less mpg than my T56 Transam did.

T56 = 6spd

My cobra honestly gets around 130/tank. It sucks, literally.

LS1 FC (2nd gen RX7) Best of both worlds. Light Nible well handling ( LS1 weights less than rotay 13B) and makes a shit ton of power with some bolt ons. Need I say more?
