"Fast" and reliable. Mod cheap, mod twice.

I use "fast" in quotes because for a 16 year old I'd say its fast. Theres not much that isnt fast for someone whos 16. Also its not "fast" because I estimate my HP from being 280rwhp to 340rwhp...I have no idea, I'm not going to overshoot it too far, I'm not going to brag when I havent taken it out or I have little things to work out still.

cheap and reliable... not really planning on doing anything in particular to this car except oil changes and tire rotation

once i get out of school and have a good source of income i'll be somewhere around fast and reliable.

I live by that motto and I do it within my budget. If you can't afford to blow it up again and again, build it to where it is fast enough to where it doesnt break itself. However, I did pick fast and cheap simply due to the massive amount of information that is out there nowadays. It is possible to let everyone else make their mistakes, learn and build it right so that you can have a car built properly to your budget that is fast and cheap. The most expensive thing you can do is go too big and injure a bunch of expensive parts rendering you without a car for a long time.

Thinking about it, there should be a choice for just "fast" Anyone with a truly fast car will tell you it isn't cheap, and it isn't reliable

I would have to say Reliable and Fast.

Over the long term, cheap and fast dont last

I say quality in, quality out. You get what you pay for.

It is hard to live by this and keep a reasonable budget.

Mine is my daily driver. I always drive a POS looking thing modded to hell. I don't want to do to a nice car what I do to the ones I drive. And if I can't do what I want to it, I don't want to drive it. If it breaks, I steal a truck from work (like the one I'm currently driving while I'm waiting for a new input shaft from Lentech) until I get it back on the road. Reliability is overrated. There's always a way to get around.

That about sums it up. If you don't break things, you're not pushing hard enough and you're not as fast as you think you are...(or as cheap )
