I wont be in the Tampa area for a good 2-3 years anyways...who says I'm going to burnout and skeet my tires everywhere?? I knew it'd eventually be outruled to become an option though
Getting something fast could be bad though...especially something as solid as an MkIII

No, not reliability wise, I mean physically...theres possibly a solid inch between the outside, the a piller, and the inside

Orion... Realize that buick man's buick has been faster than 90% of stock japanesse sports cars in the 1/4..
I'm sure he'll come on here and set you straight shortly. You seem to be the opposite of "talk softly and carry a big stick"

i don't think you have ANY valid arguement against the safety and emissions.
ok... so we're missing... 2 cars that japan or europe has... but you need to understand that 99% of america doesn't buy cars for any reason other than A to B transportation, and most major car companies don't give 2 shits about whiny 15 year olds who want skylines or atoms, because A) you can't afford them and B) just because you bench race them, that STILL doesn't make any money for the manufacturers. it's fucking economics. the excuse for YEARS over why the evo wasn't in the US was because of the front bumper. but look what happened with that... they put a new damn bumper on it and voila, it's here in the US... why? because subaru proved that people like cheap speed. why isn't the skyline here? it's not cheap. end of discussion... doesn't have shit to do with emissions or safety, otherwise motorex wouldn't be able to import them.
on a related note, i think if anything we need MORE safety regulations. why you might ask? because the majority of people on the roads are either:
talking on their cell phone
driving 20 in the left lane
completely legally retarded
or driving an suv while doing a combination of the last 3 things.
so why in the fuck would you want to be driving around in a 1500 pound car made of plastic and paper thin aluminum?

I'm not talking about cars we didn't get. I'm talking about how unsafe everyone feels all of the time. I'll just give up trying to convince you. Orion, you're cool, keep your good attitude about things, and good things will happen for you.
