I wanted to get a little fun car, but couldn't really decide between the two. I like both car. My goal is to get to the mid to low 13's without spending a lot of money. Is that possible or are they slow that they need a lot of money to get to the 13's?

 

Youll have more fun with the foxbody, just buy that.

 

why do you think that? am hesitating about getting a fox because they are all over the place.

 

5.7 TPI is crapola. It's good that fox's are everywhere. Makes it alot cheaper for parts and works for your advantage.

 

i say go with the foxbody 5.0, first thing you should get is a gear for it and its relativly cheap, and makes a huge improvement

i'm a die hard chevy fan but they are right the 5.0 would be cheaper unless u are planing on doing a heads/cam swap then i would go with the 5.7.
it realy comes down to how much do u have to spend on the car plus mods
i got a 327 and trans that would make u go 11s for a steal but is not that street friendly

 

so a geared foxbody should be able to hangout with an lt1 fbody?
