i haven't been pulled over for mine, and I have the Apex N1 system. Chris's system isn't even that loud, mine is louder than his is. Cop is just trying to be dick.

 

Oh well, hopefully this is a temporary crackdown and we can all go back to our evil drug dealing street racer lifestyles. If not, we'll all just have to acquire yenko camaros and hemi challengers by racing for slips to get around this import stereotype.

the law has been in effect, its nothing new, whats new is the fact that they are cracking down on it now, btw the receipt will do you no good (50 state legal is for carb) has nothing to do with noise, i would still try to fight the ticket if you get one. but if the cop is a dick then he's gonna fuck you, thats just how it is now dayz. btw i asked a cop how come a bike can have an exhaust louder than mine but mine is illegal? he said some bullshit about there aloud to. its all bullshit and i get pissed just thinking about it uhhhhhrrrrrrrr one more side note, the ticket they give is a general ticket (not just for exhaust) so its a lill harder to fight in court they basicaly are stating that you have inproper equipment on your vehical

I actually talked to a p park cop tonight at work . he said that it's been passed as a law since 2001 and didn't go in affect til 2002. I told him about my ticket and he asked which car is mine. I pointed and he said that he probably wouldn't pull me over because my car doesn't stick out so much. he looks for alot of stickers , wings and loud annoying exhaust that sounds like lawn mowers. I guess i got my ticket for minding my own business just hanging at 4th st. @ 3am

 

Damn this really pisses me off. I'm sure I'll get nailed for my N1 in the next month. Stuff like this just makes me wanna sell my car and get something less sporty and more on the luxury side. I'm so sick of it.
