I know a guy who had a auto vert with 4.10s and it would just fall on its face. I would go with 3.73s.

i have 4.10's in mine but is it a 5spd. they are perfect for 1/4 mile cause i am just about to hit the top of 4th gear at the line but i think i would go with the 3.73's on an auto

I would go with 4.10s if it were 5spd aswell. If you had a 4V Auto, then I would go with 4.10s, but with the 2V, go with 3.73s.

Go with the 4.10's, the mod motors seem to like gear.
in that case 4.30's?

I just switched from 4.30's to some 4.56's last night. With the AOD, the engine didn't RPM like I wanted it to. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning if everything goes OK with the tranny install later tonight.

I have a 98 GT 5sp with the regular mods and I have 4.10s in it. Its fun on the street cause it feels like a bigger engine BUT, at the track I run out of rpm before the end of the 1/4. for example... my car needs to be shifted at 5000 and I go through the traps in 4th at 5500. I have tried shifting to 5th but that was a bad idea. you mod motor guys know that they just stop pulling. If I could do it all over I would go with 3.73s. unless you plan a PI motor swap or power adder of some kind. with an auto...id do the 4.10s.
