need help what would casue this ?
ok so i put the PMS back on the car and it runs alot beter.i drove the car round today with the chip/tune in it and cargot up to 200 degree and with the pms at the track wit about 6 passes in a row car only got to 185.so somethings not right with te tune so i think im going to keep the pms on the car...WOW what a aste of 550 for a tune.
also on the pms on full throttle shows total timing at 19 where it should be.all i need to do is work on the tune cause its rich at idel

So did the falling off issue go away when timing was added?

well its pulling to 6000 but im not sure if the power is dropping off at 4800 like on the diablo chip.i will know thursday night cause im going to the track and im going to run both and see whats going on.
i think the issue with it hitting 5000RPM and no going past might have been spark blow out and the fact my coil took a shit on me.the pms seems to pull harder but im not 100% sure untill i can get a full pass out of it.

What made you pull off the PMS and pay to have it tuned with a chip?

i just wish i would have had pete stop on dyno day dyno it with the tune and then my pms tune to see if the problem with the car falling offat 4800 was in the tune or not.
ok so i took the chip out and put on the anderson pms and wow alot better way more power.however im still having th same problem it hits 5000RPM and wont go past.i know alot of people have said maybe valve float but why is it that when im in 3rd gear and 3000RPM and hit it it pulls to 6000 but in 4th gear it stops at 5000RPM i just dont understand how valve float would only happen in 4th gear.
