Talks of a station that's being built in Wesley Chapel, Land O Lakes or Lutz area for the past eight months that's going to carry E85. If that happens game over

I really hope they build something close sometime soon. It would also be really sweet if they had a pump near the Bradenton for when hitting up the track.

I would love to run e85 with the new TT kit going in. I hate that everytime I am out west I see E85 pumps at almost all the stations and we can not get a single one here in the Bay area. I bet if one station in the bay area did it they would have a line at the pump. It would be like a car show every night with all the boosted cars wanting some fuel

If there was an E85 pump in Bradenton I would DD on it. I'm always in Bradenton and only live about 15mins from BMP.

Straight methanol has more octane than E85. used as injection cools and adds octane. As your having to pull fuel and replace what you pull with meth.

Here.. 91 octane V6

I run pump gas and straight meth injection with no issues. Cool IAT's, burns clean, etc etc etc.

You get what you pay for and the attention you give the system.

Simple, maintenance. Fuel injectors are not happy when they sit in methanol. Neither is any part of the fuel system that has aluminum or steel. This also includes fuel filters and such.

Meth kit needs no maintenance. Well hardly any.

This is the problem with E85. Or any blend of alcohol. With fuel system components not designed for alcohol. That is why most new cars that are flex fuel run stainless and plastic(teflon) for everything.

You burn twice as much so your 2.60 per gallon is is really 5.20 per gallon. And the cost of building the fuel system correctly.

No free lunch. never was.. the illusion I can buy race gas at 2.60 per gallon has its issues.

When running the eth its easier to get a alchol carb and tune it rather than buy a gas carb... it burns real cool if you get a chance to touch an intake after a pass it will actaully wont be hott at all kind of cold.. it burns just like alchol real fast and real clean...
