E85 is what most of you want to run. Especially if it's a street car/motor

That's unpossible, meth doesn't add octane when injected into the motor, look it up!

With today's electronics, it is easy to have a pressure sensor in the line right before the meth injector, and if pressure falls, limits boost. We did it very crudely in the 90's, and it worked well.

Trust me, I was running meth injection in the mid 90's very successfully, you're not talking to someone unfamiliar with the benefits. But that's just it, if we can stop at the Eckards on the way to the street races, buy their supply of rubbing alcohol and run 18psi with no intercooler, making over 400hp out of a 3 liter V6 with bone stock computer, mass air, injectors, etc, then with all of todays boost controllers and electronics, it can be done without driving to Lake City.

Not sure where I got that from, my apologies.

You do realize though that if you were to run 100% ethanol (E85 is 85% Ethanol), you will need to run twice as much volume of ethanol as you would gasoline. This means that a 55 gallon drum of E85 would get you about the same as 30 gallons of gas, that's alot of trips to lake city, and the cost savings start to dwindle too.

1/8 mile at a time it should last a while. I'm not concerned with gas mileage in a performance application. I'm hoping to find someone that ships drums, to cut the travel down

The amount of boost and timing I had in this turbo meth injected car today says different

Yeah, shit works. The thing is, alcohol makes everyone a good tuner too. You can run so much more boost and lead, and the motor just runs cool and makes power. I've seen cars so rich raw alcohol was dripping out of the exhaust, still making good power. It's so much more forgiving.

This is true. With alcohol you don't know you've pushed it too far until you see a rod laying on the floor. I've seen a few people run alcohol cars so rich it lifted the valve seats out of the head, bent rods, etc. So on one hand it's near impossible to detonate but very easy to pre-ignite, etc in the wrong hands

I know a lot of the Tampa people have been going to Orlando to fill on E85. I've found a closer place to fill. The price as of today is $2.62/gallon
