Do not use platinum plugs. Also go to Coastal.

you dont really need an adjustable FPR, if your not getting enough fuel on the bottle you can just change the jet, the adjustable FPR could be used to tune the FP off the bottle, but while on it the jet size of the FP line is going to dictate the amount of Fuel Pressure.........

i'll post up a basic rundown for ya, even though everything you need to know is in the thread already,

1st, when you run a real dry kit (not a cheap bag kit), spary after the MAF, let the jets correct the fuel, the jets will ALWAYS stay the same (given same bottle pressure) the computer might change the tune from time to time.....

if you run over a 100 shot you want to look into retarding the timing...

I would run 1 step colder plugs at a small gap, make sure your iginition system works well.....

you should run a bigger pump if you have mods or are going over a 75 shot, but if you feel like risking your car over a $120 pump go for it .......

invest in a nice kit, GET A DYNO TUNE, get a purge, probably a bottle warmer, probably a window switch as well to help with launching and possible overreving, and a fuel pressure safety switch is also a nice cheap investment....

when you drive the car, never use the nitrous on a bogging motor, and always use it in the right gear, (dont try to punch it at 50 in 5th gear) and never use it when not at wot.....

and even if you dont go colder on your plugs get something besides the factory platinum....

my checklist would be :

1.Kit 75-150 adjustable dry shot (100shot to start,w/wot switch)
3.Plugs
4.Bigger fuel pump(255high pressure in-tank)
5.Purge Kit
6.Fuel Pressure gauge
7.Dyno Tune

i'd run it at 100 shot till you feel it out, then get a chip down the road so you can retard the timing if need be and maybe just get an all around better tune.......

I would just add a window switch to the above post.

https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/s...1&page=1&pp=15

thats the link to the kit Im buying....Its an N.O.S kit

So I should just skip the fpr and only get the fpg.....So let me get this straight If I am not getting enough fuel I should downsize the jetting to a smaller shot? What should my fuel pressure be when on the bottle ? So basically just get the fp and watch the fuel pressure gauge?

Final Checklist before I start buying things:
1.N.O.S Dry Kit (wot switch)
2.1 step colder plugs
3.Fuel pump 255 high pressure in tank
4.Purge kit
5.Fuel pressure Gauge
6.Dyno tune

How far behind the maf should I spray?

I will buy a chip later down the road when I find a decently priced one to get a better tune and play with the timing.........Can I take my car to coastal w/o a chip after I install parts listed above and have them tune it or no?

anyone willing to help me out when I get everything? Or any diagrams on installing?
