well guys i desided to build my enigine myself. i was pricing it out and for the cost of paying someone to do it i can get forged aluminum pistons, forged steel crank, and forged rods. Plus it will be a good learning experience for me.

An Edelbrock 7521 intake with a Holley HP sitting on top yes?

This would top it all off nicely.

i've got efi on the towncar, and it's a fucking nightmare to track shit down, but it runs like glass when everything's working.
carbs are much simpler and i prefer them myself, but they're still tough to precisely tune and they won't run as smoothly as an efi system.

it's all about preference of what ya can work with, and how ya want it to run.

More like if you want to be at the mercy of a computer and many misc. sensors go efi..

Your slackin' - took you WAY too long to respond to that one!

Changed my mind im going with a EFI setup. Come to find out my neighbors brother has a cobra upper and lower intake manifold ,70mm thottle body, steeda fuel rails, 24 lb fuel injectors and mass air meter off of a 93 5.0 cobra. He said i can have it all for $200.

Is this a good deal?????
Im going to go pick it up tommorow.
