hmmm, if your going with a carbed setup and sttarting from the ground up i would look for a different block, maybe an older, non roller block........ cheaper parts and easier then peicing this here that there, and i hear the older pre EFI blocks are stronger......

If its going to be a Daily Driver then do EFI. Order the Painless wiring harness kit. If ally ou wanting to do is 350 just stick with stock internal. Hell stock internal are good for 450-500 hp anyway.

Stockblock
Eagle ESP Con Rods ($230)
Stock Forged Pistons that are flycut ($250)
Stock crank, get a new fresh one acutally ($100-$200)
....all balanced together
TFS Stage 1 with 1.72 Roller rockers or a TFS Stage 2 or even a FRPP F or X cam (130-$170 for the cam, $100-175 for the roller rockers used)
Self ported Explorer intake ($200used) or
Holley SysteMax II Intake ($500 new)
Explorer Throttlebody($50 used)
24# Injectors($75 used if you look around)
Holley or Edelbrock heads ($800ish used if you look around)
ARP Bolts all thruout ($250ish for everything)
Timing Chain cover ($75used)
New water pump($40)
Misc other shit, like gaskets, oil pump, timing chain ((budget around $200 tops)
Mac shorty headers ($50 used)
Painless Wiring harness kit ($450)
190/255 LPH fuel pump($110)
some other bs as well like finishing the exhaust and how to run the fuel setup itself

buy a .030 over rotating assembly with forgered or hypereutectic aluminum pistions from jegs or summit, they are pretty reasonable prices.....
