Demon makes a good carb, so does Barry Grand, I like the proform main bodies. But a daily driver I would get a 650 Holley with vaccum secondaries and an Electric choke.

Doesnt the motor already have EFI on it? I have a Demon carb on my 1990 and it works great.

I run a 750 Vac Sec on my 5.0/AOD. I have read/heard that you don't want to go double pump (mech. sec.) on the AOD/Daily driver either.

Scott is on the money with his carb recommendations.

forged aluminum is the only way to go, cast aluminum is a waste of money in my opinion.

Depends what you are planning on doing. If you ever, ever, ever see a power adder in your future, get forged pistons.
