Just when you thought you had seen it all ! Gee can't imagine why people would want to use a carb over that good ole' EFI stuff ?

There is a lot to say for simplicity and easy H.P. Need to make a manifold change with a efi car it costs how much ? And what other parts have to be changed in line with it (injectors, mass air meters, new tune, etc.) ? Then lets discuss price.
I have seen a lot of interest in this market and it seems to be growing.

so this is what my Lightning needs? a git r dun manifold for a git r dun truck!

JYWY Scott. I will say, for arguements sake, that it takes about as much $ for a good carb setup as well. Yeah, you save a few $ for the intake itself, but a high-end carb, regulator, fuel pump and lines can really break the bank.
OTOH - Wonder if you could hook up a crank trigger and use stock EEC-IV electronics (rewire injector harness for correct injector pattern). Of course, you would have to mod the intake like a spider intake, but then you could use conventional (older style) throttle body, injectors, mass air. Im sure it would need some kind of chip or tweecer, especially on the 5.4, but the 4.6 would probably start right up.
