Every car company lowers the prices at the end of a model year to clear out the old inventory. Nobody wants to buy an new 03 when the new 04's are also sitting on the lot. I repeat, every car company does this.
Cars are toys, not investments. Always be prepared to lose big value on it. If you are not prepared to do this, then maybe you should consider cheaper toys. I could care less what Ford is selling Cobra's for now becuase I have so much fun with mine.
And this whole thing about 03 Cobra lowering 01 Cobra resale value thing is also rediculous. This is not a Ford only thing. Imagine buying a 96 C4 Corvette new, and the next year the C5 vettes are released. Talk about lowering resale! It's a fact of life, and every automotive manufacturer does it.

but honestly i think my time in Fords is done.. too much of a heart/headache .... Fords business practices are all fucked up.. tons of quality issues and now this..i am done.. i am thinking a nice new Pontiac GTO .. leave it stock.. and be done with modding late model cars.. build a autox/track impreza.
