maybe i did act a bit too hasty. I am as low as it gets when it comes to moderating these forums. i run a low traffic forum, free of drama. most of you haven't heard of me because I tend to stay away from cliques on TR. i have no problems with not being popular on a forum, I'm not what you would call an internet hardass either. When I accepted the role of mod, I knew it came with the responsibility of being fair. Not being able to use the search function, I could not confirm what ZMAN was claiming. If it was as blatant as you claimed it to be then I would have brought it up to admins earlier. Sure, I made a minor mistake. It could have been handled differently, but it wasn't. If you people decide to cast blame and opinions based on this, that's your business. Our paths will never cross, my life will be lived the same. Sorry for whatever inconvieniences I have cause you. I'm man enough to lay claim to my mistakes, take it or leave it. Best of luck with your future dealings on Tampa Racing, you guys have a good day.

ZMAN did the right thing by standing up for the members of this site, it was quite commendable what he did. I just wish there was more I could have done, without stepping out of bounds. I'm done posting in here, I've explained my actions to the best of my ability. I wish every other forum was like ford tech, you guys have it under wraps.
oh and btw, you may see me post in here once i finish my race car build. i will be racing in the 4 cylinder bombers class at citrus county speedway. the car is an older model ford mustang, obviously 4 banger. it was free, so it will work. the original car was a 1985 ford escort, but i couldn't run the car without adding 500lbs.

Ford Tech is often the innovator for things here on TR, so if you guys feel like you need a scammer registry, start it up and I will sticky it. Just keep in mind that if it turns into a bitch fest, or requires someone to baby sit it full time we will probably lock it up.

I see Zate's point 100% and agree that he shouldn't be the end all/be all authority on the truth of a situation. But I am confused when there is a 10,000 post thread named "Beware Joe Dono: Scammer" in General Car Chat.
Again, not wanting to cause an issue, just pointing out an inconsistency.

That thread is a cluster fuck and a great example of why scammer beware can be bad. That thread required constant cleaning up, monitoring etc etc .. i spent many many hours on that. That kid is a constant pain in the ass still. If we could just convince all of Pit Road to move to TF, my job would be much easier.. lol
Seriously though, open to ideas, we can try the thread in the ford area if you guys want to do that but I expect for every feedback posted there, that there is a TRader Rating added aswell. That system is ultimately better than just a thread on a large scale. (Although if you look, the top person only has a -7 score, and all of those are bogus).
Perhaps making the TRader system more obvious (especially in the forsale forums) is something I will look at.
