You need more then 10 people to rent out jennings, I forgot how much it cost to rent it out. Jennings did or may still have half days you can pay for, after lunch time, you just pay for half. If your going to do that I would just camp there and do 2 half days.
Never been to the track, but I've come across some roads that were down right awesome, and could probably give the track a run for it's money. I intend on going back to orlando to ride this one small country road I came across earlier this year.

Nothing beats the track, I used to do roads and brooksville runs, sure it was nice scenery but if your trying to hone your riding skills the track is best and safest place. Sure the price is steep, but if you think about it crashing costs a lot. Ive been down a couple times just on brooksville runs from stupid gravel. Also God forbid something happens to you at the track you can easily get airlifted. If your stuck on some country road goodluck finding reception. Im not knocking it "twisties" But if your knee dragging the "twisties" you really should be on the track.
I want to go to a track. Let me know if someone is going now that I don't work weekends and my bike is where I want it. I don't care about the cost lol just let me know.

Trackdays are awesome! you meet some really cool people too! if you go trying to chase a time your there for the wrong reason. dont get me wrong I have a timer but its only there to help me improve based on the little changes i make per session. a lot of guys that talk shit about the track are the ones that have either never been or are just not into really pushing themselves or there bikes. even if your not into doing them all the time the skills youll learn you can apply on the street.
the best way to get into doing trackdays is to go with a friend if not then check out Southern Track Days they do special events at Jennings. on those days you will get a lot more one on one with instructors and the control riders.
the 25, 26, 27th are half priced days from 9-2 I will be there that weekend! If anyone is near Ocala I have an open spot on my trailer and I dont mind sharing a pit, I have everything you will need for your first day.

I'm working on going out to a school day at jennings. Money is a problem right now though, still need some gear; larger boots, better gloves, and pants, probably while I'm at it I'll shoot for a new helmet too...so when I save up the thousand bucks or so I'll be ready...damnit, patience patience...
