yes. and i checked the other one too. they worked when installed.

sl2......have you tried taking it to an auto pats store and see if they can match it to the size you need and right temp? In the old days ('80s) when the water cooled bikes started coming out we used to do that. They usually do not reinvent the thermostat just find one that fits when they build a bike. Check it out for giggles

i though about doing that. just didn't know what kind of success would have had

we have thermostats for boat motors and such. bring it in and we might be able to match it or something.
