Scott

I have decided that the Hankook's are not to bad. I still feel the Hoosiers have better overall grip, but the Hankooks are very recoverable when losing traction. Sunday was the most fun I have had at an event in a long time.

I discovered a speed secret that worked awesome. (Hint a different way to grip the steering wheel.)

Matt you can post the vids in here. We mostly do.

Dave it was great to see that Judy finished a run on course, I was sending out positive vibes from timing.

Scott watching your vid I was like man I was on the throttle as much as I could through most where it sounded like you weren't? Strange. Anyway. If I had taken that turn around as smooth as you did my loss by .388 seconds would not have happened. lol

I really had a great time pushing myself both days. Sebring was well worth it for me this year.

Since I don't leave for my project till next week - during the week - if the Mini Grand Prix is happening this weekend I am going.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

A bit of throttle does go a long way in the Stalker, but there is always room for more. We found that a front shock had decided to leak all it's oil out, which explains may explain the squirrelly feeling we were getting, new shock's are on the way!

Agreed. Vivek was saying in my quest to become a better driver that my car deserves that I listen in on what other drivers are doing and my thought was wow, throttle in the Stalker goes a long way.

I learn a lot from watching how the 'fast guys' drive. Watching video's of our runs help and really show that I need to use the skinny peddle longer and more often, brake later and harder. Watching Scott Minehart get within 1/2 second of the fastest shifter cart (Matt's run) is the sort of thing that keeps me from dumping money into the car!! He simply does not miss a single opportunity to accelerate!

I would like to get a camera in my car and start taking runs with others so that I can pick up pointers and such. And yea, Scott is very quick behind that wheel. Look at my sig and you'll see your point right there
