Video's of the SCCA Autocross weekend at Sebring
The course was not ideal for filming, pretty long distance from one end to other. As such, some videos are cut a bit short.
It was however, ideal for driving!
Starting the morning with a cup of coffee looking over Turn seven from our room:
Turn 7 in the morning Sebring
Keith's M3 driven with precision:
M3 at Sebring 10 19 08
Peter's Formula, always fast:
Peter's Formula in Sebring 10-19-08
Jack driving a borrowed S2000 on race rubber (shaved a couple seconds off his own time)
jack borrows an S2000 with frsh race rubber
Jack in his own S2000 CV joint noise and all! Hope you made it home ok
Jack and his S2000 running fast at Sebring
Loud Solo Vee
Solo Vee at Sebring 10 19 08
This car is a BEAST. A V8 powered 260Z piloted by Dan
Dan's V8 Zcar practice day Sebring 10 18-08
This next short clip needs some explaining. The 260Z had a mechanical failure. We had us push him to the start and then had to fire up the engine while his tranny was engaged in 2nd gear. He drove stuck in 2nd gear. His wife Susan was so proud of him and happy to see him able to run, she gave a victory dance that was caught on film! That is a supporting spouse!
A cheering wife! A not so disabled Z
Dan and Susan's Daughter training to be a Formula One pilot:
Dylan Karting in Sebring
Brandon, another young F1 pilot in training:
Brendon Karting in Sebring
Bob in his Miata pushing his tires to the limit
Bob's Miata in Sebring 10-18-08
Bob gave up his Miata for a run in a borrowed Vette
Bob tests a Vette in Sebring Autocross 10 18 08
And one final of an in car video to show the course up close.

Thanks for the filming Mary. A great time. Looking forward to returning in Nov!

You would have really liked Sunday. It was pretty open with lots of room for Horsepower. Perfect for your Mustang.
November on your schedule?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
