I see you have lightened up the car a bit. looks good.

We got the replacement engine in the car yesterday. Talk about a Frankenstiened engine. Head from one engine, block-crank and 5 pistons from another engine, Intake -starter and 1 piston-connecting rod from a 3rd engine.
The team was over and we got the kill switch about 80% in place need to get some heavier wire.

Next week it should be done and we can start the shakedown.

There is a PCA autocross the weekend before the race at Zepher hills we are thinking about going out to.

Yeah, we put the car on a diet again. We got rid of the hatch and that alone elevated the rear end of the car about 3/4 of an inch! We want to cut the rear springs down but since we're running short on free weekends we'll do it before Ohio.
The car is pretty much ready except we ripped the exhaust apart when loading it on the trailer to take it to our battery guy this morning. He's doing the kill switch.

I thought the Escort "Clank" was intentional. Some sort of sound effect hooked up for when you went through judging, to enhance your lemmonyness.

Looking forward to seeing Euro Trash at Z-hills.
That course design is supposed to be a bit faster and smoother than usual.
Don't know if that is good or bad for you. Probably 60 second runs.

We are leaving out around 7am Thursday morning...We had terrible tire luck last year and took us way too long to get up there...
We may sign up late and run the Friday test so the new guys can learn the car and learn the track. Plus the new guys will do the Friday night drivers school as well. Hell, I may do it too.
Does this Tom guy do allignment and camber work? If so, can I get his name/number so we can get the front end looked at on the Escort? Cash money...

Not sure where our garage is at, but in the 'grassy hot pits' if you want to all group together we can. We are going to set up our tent as close to PIT OUT as we can... You can't have too many hands helping with fuel and drivers changes... Remember, with fuel stops we'll need a fireman in full nomex with a separate fire extinguisher.
If any of you are camping there, I'm bring my small grill.....real small. All you'll need is the charcoal and the food and you guys can use it.

Taj, for a front driver (hell, for any Lemons car, really), alignment is cake. Call Jeff, he can help you out. (he's your new Stig, anyway, right?)

Actually our new stig is International Autocross and Rally SUPERSTAR Philippe Lebec! Dang, I feel bad, I totally forgot about Jeff... I have a butt load of decals for him too! I'll call him in the morning...

Awesome! I really think Philippe has what it takes. (that is, not a lot of common sense, and a bit of death wish)
