Yea Tom cant do alighnments. Id check with Jeff. Or if you get in a bind I have a basic alignment machine at the house. the parts that clamp on the wheels and the plates. I use a tape measure. It works well.

Thanks for the heads up RE refueling. I need to get another extinguisher.
Were not camping. it was cheaper to do the hotel that 4 miles away.

We picked up the car today from Jeff and all I can say is WOW! He really knows his stuff and the price is right. He helped us align the front end, adjust the camber and installed some barely used shocks in the front, did a little spring work on the rear, etc...
THANKS again Jeff and we will be using you again in the future.

Am I going to regret sending you to Jeff?

BTW, is the "Tampa Bet" on for this race?

Naahhh.... we'll still be 4 secs a lap slower than your Bimmer. But hopefully we wont get hit with too many black flags again and be around at the end though.
The 'Tampa Bet' sounds good though. I forgot what it was though, $100 a car highest place car takes all?

I think that was the bet. I seem to remember it costing me $20 last time!

You'll be amazed at how much faster your car will get around the track with a good alignment. You'll be able to out-corner a lot of cars... even more than you did before.

We decided to sign up for the Friday test session. We really want to see what the car will feel like now with the front end being worked on a little and with the short shifter in the car....

Next week can't get here fast enough!! WOOOO!!

Gave the car 15-20 minutes of thrashing at the PCA autocross today with three drivers. Barry things it might have a weak rear wheel bearing, otherwise, it seems good to go.

The Euro trash car looked to be running strong on Sunday.
It put down some very solid times on a course that was Wet, Slippery,
and set up for high HP cars.
Good luck to you guys. I'm keeping my fingers crossed tightly.

I think there was another 2 seconds in that car yesterday. I figured out what I was doing wrong after I drove the course in my Yaris. The turn-around was a REALLY slow maneuver, and I was taking it in 2nd in the 325. As soon as I let the clutch out in 2nd, the back end started sliding around because I was going too fast for 2nd and there wasn't enough grip on the rear tires to hook up and bog the engine. Then I started trying to accel out of the hole (gently) and just spun the tires until the car finally got up to a 2nd gear speed where the tires could hook up. THEN I was able to accelerate through 2nd. I think I might have actually done better to downshift to first gear to accelerate out of the turn-around.

Anyway, the car is running well... for a lemon. We'll have fun!
