Thanks! Our #4 guy may have to back out due to a medical issue in his family. We will know for sure by the end of the week hopefully. How many guys do you have on your team??? Or on the other local team??

Hmmm... 7 drivers, two cars... it could be done!

LeMons in one car is fun... hitting the track in TWO cars would have to be twice as much fun, wouldn't it?

We'll 'figure' something out... Don't be suprised to see your name on our car in vinyl Loren or Barry and you aren't with us during tech since your plane got mysteriously delayed in the Bahamas!

Also...my father called the track to confirm the order of the garage a week or so ago and the person he spoke with said with the 100+ paid entries, they may consider running the big track. 70+ on the 1.1 mile track was crowded....just think of the other 30+ showed up!

I can think of at least two more places they will need chicanes on the full track, but I'm all for it!

Fer. crying out loud.. run them art speed. most of them can't break 75 anyway. they have cages, Fire suits, Fire walls. let's loose the chicanes already. I don't need Fisher Prices "My first Race" rules.

With no minimum requirements for driver experience... there are drivers out there that DO need the extra protection.

agreed, while I don't want to see the series "exclude" anyone.. perhaps a 2-3 Drivers ed requirement is not a bad thing... I know our team last year met that requirement.. and it would help the clubs that do drivers ed build numbers. I know the argument 2 events w/ 5 drivers is $1500 extra cost minimum... it would defiantly help those that are "traffic shy".. since while I'm not intimidated by a car 6 inches off my mirror, there were a lot of divers out there that were, and being overly cautious causes as much problems as it solves.

You have to remember, too, that to allow speed in a race like this is to REQUIRE it. "Slow" cars would no longer be able to compete. The cost of preparing a car goes up.

Got the damaged engine out today. Going to go over the parts we can use and hopefully have a Frankenstiened engine together and in by next weekend.
