I always hate the money argument......maybe they don't care that they spent more/less money for their car and mods, maybe they don't want to drive civic or something else. I know I bought my car b/c I like it and what it offers. Is there faster out there, yes; is there cheaper out there, yes; is there cheaper to modify cars out there, GOD YES

and i will challenge any of you guys to come out to an auto-x and then go to the track in the same month and see how you do versus my setup. ie...same tires, same suspension setup...etc...
Where's Kyle when you need him... he autocrossed the hell out his SS, and took it to the strip with the exact same setup and still ran 11's.

mainly because most import guys (like myself) can't afford to spend 20k on a faster car.
and i want to see some TR camaro's auto-xing this summer...and then going to the drag strip...
and like i've maintained from the beginning, i think ls1 powered camaro's, new vette's, new 350z's and the new mustangs are badass.
i have respect for anything thats fast, looks decent..etc...
however, money is a major part of it for me...as i can't afford to spend 20k on a car when school costs around 30k a year, my sisters school costs 37k a year...etc...etc...
plus i don't have a real job...so that makes it even harder.

i waxed a 350z...waxed a few mustang gt's...and thats about it.
like i said before...and billy you know me well enough...if i ever did bash a car i wasn't being totally serious...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...................... never autocrossed before, but I'll bet I could go run some high 12's and come kick some ass on the autocross afterwards (with some practice since I've never done it) - with only tire pressure changes...

i think you guys at badrap should make it out to a few auto-x's. whether its at the florida state fairgrounds, zephyrhills airport, or even a sunriders event you would gain some respect for my "slow 4 cylinder econobox."
i met zate at a recent auto-x...and would definitely enjoy meeting more of you guys...

I just look at comments that have been made like " I could do so much more to a Honda for that money" as being degrading to the car that is being spoken about.
Chris, you should def. come out to some of the Auto-Xs....they are alot of fun.
