pretty good I think, but you can't really compare our cars anyways since yours was much more modded. If I wanted to bench race I could say that with a 1.6 60' I could have gone 11's and that would have been as easy as putting in a clutch and gears.

I never got a good run at the track because the clutch wouldnt hold a launch and I got rid of it before I could put in a good clutch, but my car was setup to do highway runs and not digs....

I ran a car that ran 10.9@124 on the sauce and I walked it pretty hard so the potential was there but in a dig race I don't doubt he would get me.
if that car went 10.9 @ 124, I would guess to say they suck at driving as much as you.

and i call bullshit on the clutch, a 12.6 is right on the money for that mph with a shit 60' like you had.

any more retarded fucking shit you wanna try baiting on that hook?

clutch wouldnt hold on the spray except for 2nd gear rolls and it was slipping on the 2/3 and 3/4 shifts or on the motor from a dig, hence the crap 60' it was a stock clutch.......dont know whats so hard to understand on about that

the point is my car was what it was, not a race car and not setup for the 1/4. it was pretty quick from a roll and i had fun with it.

i trapped higher then you to bud
with a clutch you could hear slipping, and lets not forget with a 281 that constatly gets made fun of by alll you 346 and 350 guys

amazing how your clutch hurt you on your 12.6 run but you picked up nearly 2 fulll seconds on spray and ran a 10...

edit - maybe you ran a 10.9 when your shit was cammed and making 500rwhp lol

just as an FYI slipping clutches tend to slip worse in the higher gears due to the torque muliplication is less. That said if it was slipping that bad in 1st chances are you wouldn't have trapped that high cause I doubt mild bolt-on LS1 w/ spray is going to be trapping near 130 even with a good clutch in it.

Reading>you. I never ran 10.9@124 I walked a car that did by about 4 cars from 40-130

My car was always a stock cam.

Bitemark, My clutch was only an issue ON MOTOR from a launch. I literally revved it to 5k and dropped it and went nowhere. So I had to launch it soft to get going.

On the spray it slipped on the 2/3 and 3/4.

.......contradiction? I think so.

with less power, in a lower gear your clutch slipped worse than you spraying in a higher gear?

I thought maybe I explained it wrong. lol. Good to know you understand it.

To all reading this... a slipping clutch will show LESS signs of slipping in 1st or 2nd for example than it will in 3rd or 4th.

So you are saying that if you have a slipping clutch it wont effect your launch and 60's???
