Its not the fact we have rwd that makes us spin like crazy. Its called we have 3x-4x the torque at lower rpms than you do. And if a domestic guy spins like crazy on the street its just a sign of a bad driver.
I seriously wouldnt mind giving either if your 4 door cars a try sometime, What do you trap mph wise at the track?

Id like a run with insanecivicSedan too. I only trap slightly faster at 107.10 mph in the 1/8 mile......you were talking in the 1/8 mile right

RWD will always own FWD. Weight transfer! AWD is nice but a properly set up RWD can get better 60fts that AWD with out the drive train loss. I should know i own both. The only real benifit to AWD is it can get good 60fts on regular street tires. No drag radials needed. Oh and every fast fwd i know of has traction problems. Take Eric for example. He has a very fast FWD and the only reason his traction isnt worse than it is, is because he really is a hell of a driver. but even on the nittos he will never see 1.6 60fts like a RWD can.

I love how this always gets started, and who always seems to be at the top of the thread..............You guessed it Don't Sleep and Insane Civic, hey I think you all pile on Don't sleep to quickly. I own a domestic and I don't think he is trying to put anyone down. Hey like I said the last two times this started some cars are faster and some are slower and the driver can make all the difference. Hell I don't know where my car ranks but I know I can't drive it like others prob. could and knowing that I prob would lose to a yugo...ok well not that bad....If the kid--sorry don't know your age--beats someone and wants to talk about it then thats what this site is for. Hell if it wasn't for these thread where would I get my laughs......just my .02

I see where all of you are coming from with the FWD vs RWD and i may be wrong im just going by my experiences with me being on drag radials and others being on regular shyt tires.... i know at the track my statement is nowhere near true but i was going by my experiences on the street alone... that is why it was my opinion and i in know way was trying to state it as a fact because i know it isnt i just seem to get luck and catch all the fast ones when they arent on tires and it makes me feel better to beat them even if i know i shouldnt but oh well... i dont mean to talk shit or sound like some kind of hardass im just defending my boy and trying to explain to the sceptics how things can work out in our favor sometime.... and Roush I dont know if you were defending me or calling me a shit talker but hopefully it wasnt B because no where and any of my posts have i radomly talked shit just to talk shit.... the few times i may have come off as talking shit was to specific people for specific reasons... for the most part i keep to myself and dont put anyone down...
Oh yeah and AL... if you really want to waste your gas on me then sure ill run you, but you have to either run in reverse so i ca win... or you can give it everything in first and second then shut it down so i can catch up and try to pass....
