Stupid damn stupid cam gears are pissing me off. I've done it three times now and each time I'm one tooth off of perfect timing. Anyone know what would happen if I left it as is? Would it hurt performance or heighten it? As it sits with the exhaust cam dimple flush with head the intake cam is one tooth below it. So the intake ports would open a little bit later and close a little bit later. Would this be too much overlap?

I finally got everything together, but I can't get it started. If I can't get her started by tomorrow, anyone want to stop by and help?

Alright. I'm done messing around. I don't want to do it anymore.

What needs to be done:
*Timing, I just can't get it down right
*One broken cam bearing cap stud
*cat is stuck in the straight pipe, so I can't attach the headers to the straight pipe(I even hooked up a tow-rope to that and my GF's car to pull it out and it was a no go).

Anyone recommend someone to tow it to? I tried calling XAT(doesn't want to do it) and RevXtreme(where my last dyno was, never called me back). German Autohaus fucked up my clutch the last time I went there. Fisher Buggies doesn't know shit about my engine. The only place left I know would be Guy's Automotive, who helped me with my clutch(thanks to German Autohaus) and fuel system. Anyone?
