Temporily you can use an EBC at no more than 15lbs. Though you might have lean issues which can amount to "bad times" in the future.

The price you pay for an EBC may be about the same as a chip If you go upsolute.

On the turbo intake tube, the little boost control valve, or that diverter valve thing has a little screw in it, thats not adjustable? Is there anything you can modify on the diverter to up the boost? Or does the boost get controled electronically by the computer etc? (the plugin on the valve) That holds it at the same psi and there isnt a mechanical way to do it?

I spike at 20 and hold about 15-16 depending on outside temp. Go with the chip, You'll be much happier.
