My dsm died so i got a jetta 1.8t and this bitch is slow someone help me here, a link or website or shop in the tampa area that caters to v-dubs or jetta i need some parts quick but as i said before i just got this car monday and its my first vw thanks for the help

 

k before i help you must first bash you k so y did you purchase a car that is slow???? secondly dubs arent the fast cars on the road nor will they probably ever be BUT there are some nice mods for them so here is a link to whats the best on the market for a 1.8t click here

also if you arent looking for that right now then you may wanna looking into getting it chipped and a decent exhaust to allow the turbo to breath there are many chips are available for the 1.8t so i would do some research to see what fits you best
also i would take it back and get my boys APR stg. GTI its a 03 and he is looking for around 19k for it

There are tons of mods for a 1.8t, look around, if you search, they will come. Or you could swap a 24v VR6 in there.

 

IMO this wouldnt be worth it. Since he isnt looking to go all out, it'd be MUCH easier to have a 4cyl turbo with serious potential already in the car.

 

I know, it was a joke, cause everyone says I bash 1.8t's and love VR6's.

chip the ECU... best bang for the buck
replace DV .... they are know to fail
2.5" turbo back exhaust <------ kinda pricey
