yes this is another alternative however with that space now open the exhaust gases will become more turbulant and won't have as much of a linear flow because of the large open area and then it has to go back into a small pipe. very turbulant. also you may not like the sound it will make. mine kinda poped a little bit and kinda had a rattle sound coming from it.

I've been running a test pipe for like 4 years and I've had no issues w/ cops...

ok guys i think its fixed the guy down the road that did a sr swap to his 240 helped me. the intake wasnt bolted down properly and the hose that controlls the idle was long and kinked he cut it rerouted it and he messed with the throttle cables. now its fixed i guess it was fighting for air. tomorrow hes gonna fix a few more things. he also said hed change clutches for me for 200 bucks. really nice guy and knows his shit too. its not the cat he said.took it for a ride its fixed lol well thanks for the input guys but shes up and running again ( all i have to do is bolt down the CAI so she dont loosen things up again).

be careful of the cold air intake during heavy rain. you dont wanna hydro lock or water lock you engine. whatever the hell thats called.
