any motor swap without a proper tune wont be making great numbers.

he finished the swap and tuned it by himself on random streets round town, i thought he did a pretty good job with it.

there are still some issues such as the jdm speed limiter, and a better management than piggy back for the car... with a proper tune with better management he should have no problem hitting 500's-600's

besides C4, just cuz u do a swap, even if its a turbo motor swap, doesnt automatically make you crazy fast...

heh id like to see this race... aprrox same horsepower after tuning... aprox same transmission.... ohh wait... the 240 weighs.... ONE THOUSAND POUNDS MORE than the other car lol.

i know where my money is... not to mention ive seen RBs go to over 800 whp on the stock bottem end and well over 1000 with it built

lol im not knocking american cars but the vette is only still around becase of its legend. with the exeption of the c6 every corvette made after the early 70s has been a dog.

Care to try your luck against a stock vette made after the early 70's. you pick your course weather it be drag, autox, road coarse, top speed run, anything and ill show you how much of a dog it is. I mean i know its no 02 civic but....

Well, for example a 03 Z06 will get you 405 horses and 400 ft-lbs of torque, 0=60 in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of over 170 miles per hour. Not to mention you would get better gas mileage and a much more pimp car. Also where the hell did u get 1000 lbs less than a vette? If i can read correctly a c5 NON Z06 weighs 3200 and the 91 240sx se weighs 2700. But if you feel the need to run your mouth more, there are a couple of hungry Z06s you will find on here that will give you a go.

JON3KGT- 136hp? youre giving them too much credit. most of them up out between 90 and 110hp at the crank. unless you swap in a motor and get an instant bazillion + 1 whp.


now back to the nissan. that manifold looks too small. seems like you might be able to squeeze some more power out of it if you ran a larger ID and OD to accomadate.
