alot of the older straight 6 or slant 6 motors got good fuel mileage my roomate told he used to get like 26 out of his 250 straight 6

Yep, before they went all smog, they got awesome fuel mileage. But then again, the older big blocks; before smog came around, got 18-20 mpg. Ask your elders bout that one. Lol

yeah, they also made over 400hp and those cars ran 11's. That was all fabricated bullshit too.

Naa I heard more like, 14's. Which from what I understand was pretty damn moving on the shitty 70 series GoodYears in the late '60's and early '70's.

Then past '73, everything died off; hp/tq wise anyway.

But anyway, enough thread jacking about BS!! Lets see some trucks!
