the tops are cake they come with the whole arm and all ya do is bolt it in where the old one was, im sure you know tho

well what was it? I miss the site for a week and the fords falling apart? It could also be a hub (have you ever packed them?) or it could be the front hub to axle shaft deal I can't think of right now (brain fart).

Superdutys are also notorious for having bad swaybar endlinks that will make a very noticeable clunk/rattle. Could very well also be balljoints or wheel bearings, especially if the truck is lifted and/or has bigger tires.
