$12K off the MSRP....not purchased for $12K...

Hell, if I could buy them for that I'd have a fleet.

Cecil, Was that you on BBD the other day hauling a bed full of gym (??) stuff?

Also, i'd wait a bit the rebates are going to get better as the new truck business gets worse (esp w/ the price of diesel). For the first time in as long as the duramax has been out it now has a higher rebate then a gasser.

Does fuel economy play a part in your purchase at all? If so the new 6.4 will get worse economy for a while then your 6.oh

Yep, that was me

And though it is not the biggest concern..... I really am not thrilled about getting worse fuel economy.

I'm in no rush.... want to get a better look at the Duramax before I do anything.

i'm looking into getting into diesel as well. Aftere working at GM an replacing numerous injector pumps on the duramax. I wont own the older duramax. Dodge an ford both have transmission issues. i know a guy with a lift 05 cummins who is on his 4 suncoast trans.

Keep in mind the cummins has a almost identical fuel pump as the Duramax. They are ALL good trucks without a doubt.
