The 6.0 is a great motor so you guys know. The fix is out for the issues with it. Nothign more than a reprogram. And as for the 7.3 being a better motor... well I have seen Banks make a F-250 pumping out like 650 hp to the wheels. It's like any new motor/car it's goign to have it's lil bugs.

well ya'll can take the powerstroke, I don't think a computer reprograming fixes the oil leaks at the bell housing. But to each their own. As far as 650 hp that's not too impressive considering what they have to do. I mean, D max is making 500+ hp on stock injectors and turbo just programming no gas, but this is totally of the topic of the start, we each drive our own vehicles for specific reasons.

I don’t get it with you all.. I know so many people that have all these trucks, and never have a thing go wrong.. I just think you all love to pick shit apart. If all theses trucks have all these problems why the hell dose everyone have one?? I think all this shit has a lot to do with how bad you beat on the truck, and in that case your breaking the truck.. Not everyone has all these problems so get over it..

....my truck doesnt have any problems. all that they are saying is that dodge's are known to have a transmission problem, and that ford transmissions tend to have problems with huge engines.

And by the way i think i speak for the rest of us when i say that your post doesnt even actually deserve a response.

Ok have you been reading the posts??

i just think its funny that if you own a Ford. Chevy and Dodge's are filled with problems and the other way around. All trucks are diffrent, and yes some people will have problems with there trucks. But to say you wont but a ford because you think all of them have this problem or that one, or saying one is better then other is dum.

my 2cents

that's not what everybody's point is. i didnt buy a ford because it's a ford, i bought it because i got a really great deal on it. i really don't make enough money to be single minded on a certain company
