Any certified tech want to make some money? Front main seal replacement
I'd like to have the seal replaced on my is300. Pm me the price you'd charged. Want the job done right so only qualified personnel please.

hey im a proffessional toyota mechanic and if you are going to so that job you might want to have the CAM seals and timing belt w/tensioner done as well. only because if those parts go bad later you will have to pay for labor again so it makes sense to get it done at one time. also make sure your water pump its not leaking if it is replace it, if not than i would leave it alone. i would love to do this job but can't really take on any more jobs right now. you should check this guys out they're members here i saw a post of a job they did a while back. go to automodz.net
Thanks for the advice. Everything was replaced 6k miles ago but the front main seal recently started leaking. I'll check out the link. What would be a fair price? I've been quoted $275 for labor by one reputable shop.

i also work at aa toyota dealer. 275 inst bad for the job. we charge $97 a hour for labor. cant tell you the hours it pays with out looking at all data but im sure its 3+ hours.
