...THIS is the guy I would take ALL Corolla advice from....especially with his "B18C5-EG" username....I also forgot to add that you will need to do a custom coolant recirc. for the GZE swap. This will mean removing the supercharger. I would also recommend relocating the coil packs, when I had my GZE they were a PITA to get to. But hey what do I know, my names B18C5-EG

Oh, and if you get an engine shipped, check. Coilpacks if broken, they tend to break were the plug wire plugs into the coilpack. Check and make sure the superchargers over running clutch plug is in good condition, they get ripped off in shipping. And check the MAP, it should be bolted to the valve cover, make sure its not broken, it's small and fragile. Also, the relay junction bracket that has your supercharger relay and COR relay.

Mr. Sherman has a good point point for reliability. Though I could not justify putting fifteen hundred dollars worth of motor into an mid 80s corolla, if you can that is awesome. GZE with a turbo is how i would go if i had money and time. Sounds like the most fun

again there is a problem with doing a turbo ae86. and for someone who hasn't owned one it would rear its ugly haed until its to late. unless u want to spend another grand or more makeing the rear end strong enough to withstand turbo power all its gonna do is break. hell i've broken 2 rear ends with a stock 4ag. if you go to club4ag and look up a man named weir, he can build u a 6.7 to hold up to turbo, but it will cost $$$.
gze, done, this thread needs to be closed, why am i not a mod again??

thanks for the info hachibill, b18c5-eg, and understitching. i would delete this thread, but i need the info for when i get the engine.
and understitching, im keeping it supercharged. 150-160 bhp with some supporting mods i could easily get to 200 wheel, and thats all i need.
