Iam going to do the 2JZ Na-T build in a 93 Lexus and was wondering what resources you guys could recomend for rebuilding and building up the 2JZGE. I have done build-ups only on small block chevys (a couple turbo charged) and the Mitsu 4G63 and I aquired this 93 Lexus at a good deal and want to build it up. It will only be for reference only due to the fact that different torque spec may be recommended for what I plan to do etc. etc. The 2JZGE is what I have in good condition and from what i understand is that there a guys running single digits in these things. Also, do the Toyota crowd have a web site like V-Faq.com for the Mitsu guys? thanks.

 

do any of the 2jz guys put a little block filler in the block to help stabalize the cylinders. I have done so in a couple SBC build ups just as a precaution but I am still in the mix of learning what people do to properly build up the 2jz. Iam sure the same concepts apply.

 

block filler shouldnt be need untill well over 1000rwhp

 

you have to do all your research on supraforums.com they have EVERYTHING you will ever need on there under the NA section. Plus i got a NA-T build going on right now, i can tell u a few things here and there

 

plus there is a stack of Lexus guys on there

 

^^^^^^^^^^ im with him i have an 89 supra 2jzna-t all parts where from supraforums. well at least they have good set ups. im making 420ish stock internals i have 2.5 boostlogic head gasket. rx7 550cc injectors. daveH manifold t60 turbo with 70trim internals. also i have AEM uego, aem wideband. and custom 3.5 inch turbo back. and some other stuff just not coming to mind right now

I'm calling Bullshit on you on this one. You posted a week ago that you blew up your 7M and needed info on building an 2JZ NA-t motor. There is no way you got all those parts in, installed, running and tuned in less than a week.

first off yes i have it done my bad i lied im maning up to it. i have the motor in with the 2.5 hg and injectors i have turbo rebuilt and ready to put in im waiting for daves H manifold and also aem is in and wideband and also have two others supras another 89 targa and a 91na. im workin on the my 2jnat so yeah thats about it. sry bout all that
