The Vibe isnt a POS either its just a cheaper less equipped Matrix. They are all the same CAR. And i dont see anyone saying Corollas are POS's.

Also there are several reasons your ac could blow not cold. Relay could be bad(is the light blinking). You could have had a rock hit your condensor and put a whole in it(seen it a few times). As for the check engine light there are over 200 different things that can turn that light on from a loose gas cap to a pin hole leak in an EVAP line to a bad transmission. All in all just take the car to a Toyota dealer. They will fix it.
my bad,i always thought it was Gm that supplied the motors and such.

Thanks for the offer, it was free though. Now I just have to figure out the A/C issue.

Ok, so here is the deal on the A/C. The compressor wont come on when I hit the A/C button. The engine will idle up, but the pulley just keeps spinning and the compressor clutch won't engage. I checked the fuse panel but couldn't find the A/C fuse or breaker. Anyone know where it is? I think that is the problem.
Thanks!

Kailuaz, go in to your fuse box under the hood and pull out your AC. Magnetic Clutch relay, replace it with you horn relay. if the relay is the problem then you will know right off the bat as soon as you start the car again. i work for a toyota dealership and thats the first trouble shooting step we do for the that type of problem. they all end up doing it, keep us posted.

Sorry I haven't checked back here, thanks for the info.
After looking under the hood I couldn't find anything labeled "A/C" on the fuse panel. I crawled under the dash and saw the "A/C" label, but there is now way I can fit further under there to see where that relay is located.
Anyone have a picture of where the A/C relay is located?
Thanks guys!!
