Honestly I don't think the stand alone is worth the money unless you are going to run more then 320whp.

4th gen 3sgte differences are compression, turbo, and boost. The 4th gen has some sort of new age ct turbo with the turbine housing casted into the manifold, they have raised compression and boost as well. and thats it. nemesis is a good unit, however 1450 shipped without wideband, without two step, etc... it can be put in there with an extra cost. if you need to have a plug N play system i would go withthis for ease of installation and tuning. Howver if you want a balls to the wall stand alone and you don't mind learning and spending some extra cash... aem all the way. Or if you want a good system (better yet great system) for less money and you don't mind following directions (ie solder pin 16 to red/blue wire). Perfect power ecu is great as well as the microtech both can be had for under 1000 and has many features.

for me its Megasquirt for low end and AEM for high end... Megasquirt does everything you NEED.. Fuel, spark, nice maps, the options are all excellent.

maxx, just go get a 3rd gen 3sgte motorset with cut harness, minus ecu and get megasquirt. that with intake, DP, front mount, exhaust will get you damn close to your goal.

Seems like the 3rd gen wiring harness ,ecu ect. ect. costs as much as a megasquirt , thats a good buy for the guys installing and tuning it specifically for your app. Thanks for the link.

http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=83985. I actually saw this right after I asked about the nemesis and such. Seems like a good comparison.

I'm glad this thread is still alive and the dialog is friendly and informative.

I have been conversing over the last few days with a guy who is very familiar with the auctions in Japan. He was explaining to me(also sent 23 links just from one auction within the last week) that the ST205 GT-four's are going for around 3K. These are cars with little to no wear on them and in the 50K-100K kilometer range. The 185's and 195's are even cheaper. I was wondering how much of a market would there be for the ST205 GT-4 clips here in the U.S.? I know everybody says they would love to have one, but how many do you think would actually follow through with buying? I would have to make a few bucks for my trouble, but wouldn't be looking to make a killing on importing a few. So what would be a reasonable cost for someone to pay for a beautiful front clip here in the states. I'm currently speaking of the 94-99 celica GT-four.
