I just had the efi cleaned and the throttle body cleaned ect. and our v8 tundra has and always got way better fuel mileage than my father in laws v6 prerunner taco.Unexplainable to me really

How new is the V6 Prerunner? I know the newest ones are overworked and have VVT-i. They have 5HP more but I think 20tq less and a bit worse mileage.

His pre runner is a 2001 I think.He doesnt have vvt-i though that I am pretty sure of. For afew a few thousand more you can have the tundra a much bigger better truck IMO.

yea they have plenty of torque. V ery good pulling truck ,for a smaller truck it has a strong chassis.
