Sup guys? Figured I'd take a second and throw a few pics of my new WRX. Traded my 350z last week for it last week because I needed something that was a little bigger and cheaper to work on. Has 70,000 miles on it and is BONE STOCK! Already shaved the front emblem, took the intake silencer off, shaved the truck emblems, and threw a set of Cr Kai knockoffs on it (they were cheap). The VQ and the Z are fun to work on but it's just a different type of community... If you don't have Volks... you're car sucks. I payed about $3000 for my Nismo LMGT4's and when you show them to another Z enthusiast, they inform you that they aren't hellaflush so it's weak. lol Not to say that everyone with a Z is that way but one certain message board had those issues. Also, it's really hard to get performance gains out of the VQ without going turbo. Realistically, I spent the same amount on the WRX that I would have on building a block and buying a turbo kit for the Z. Would've been fun... but traction was already an issue so I'd hate to see 400 whp when I couldn't keep it on the ground with 250. I'll miss it but practicality is a necessity now

 

I agree with you, and these cars a too much fun in almost every way. You will get some of the haters on the forums, but that's normal for any car. Just do what you like, follow your goal, and most of us here will help with any questions and support whatever you plan on doing.
