I think the "stopping the earth" commented was directed at the fact that subaru listed them as 17"F and 16"R rotors. Don't need to have a crazy number of pistons to stop well, shit look at BMW. Up until a few years ago all of their cars (including M cars) were single piston calipers. A pain in the ass to change pads, but they worked.

Does it say anywhere what the price point they were looking at for it? I mean its kinda a neutered sti but if its a reasonable price point it wouldnt be as bad.

I'm surprised the Automatic is being offered only in Japan. I thought the US had the largest market for Auto cars.
Also, is this a true AUTOmatic, with torque converter and a simple manual mode or a twin clutch unit like VW?

^good question.

I think they should bring it here. But it should only be offered in pink or purple with flower vinyls all over it.

Why so much hate... LOL

Looke like a basic STi with non-flashy brakes and Steptronic.... Automatics arent always bad.

^yes they are

naw, actually the automatic 911 turbo accelerates considerably faster than the manual. I just really enjoy a good ol' 6-speed.

pretty sure you are thinking about PDK. It's not an automatic transmission. and PDK is ridiculous awesome on the track.
