Default Wastegate Sensor??

Okay quick question i was driving home from the meet today and i was in boost and the car kinda sounded like a missfire for a quick second and a cel came on.I pulled over checked everything and everything checked out fine.Took it to advance and hey said it was a turbo wastegate sensor got it flashed and havent seen it since.Just wondering if i should be worried?

EDIT** Okay so i was at a local performance shop and he noticed that i had a vacum line disconnected from my boost solenoid and after i hooked it back up my problem stoped.....except now i cannt get more the 7lbs out of the turbo its just caped there the motor still sounds like its working but nothing out of the turbo? Any ideas?

probably wastegate solenoid high range. which would mean you overboosted, iirc

your mods without being tuned cause it. The exhaust is known to cause boost creep, sti's are more prone to this but it happens often to wrx's as well

I thought a bellmouth dp untuned caused boost creep and not a catback on stock dp?

I could be wrong though as I've always had a tune when running aftermarket dp.

^ it can depending on how high the boost is going. Do you have a boost gauge? do you have a afr wideband?
