Really quick... so did the VF39/STI tmic install today. (I will update the first post later tonight) but here are the quick numbers:
1. OS map at ~18.5 psi
2. Gained about 40-45hp, tq is about the same but holds till redline
3. Hits peak boost at 3.5k (can probably get it a bit lower but its good enough right now)

All in all its fun as hell to drive. Thanks again to everyone, especially Rob (Mantra1) and Matt (specvmatt) for all the help. on to the graphs...

(its should be noted that the run I got 320 tq with my td04 was a freak accident... most other runs/logs I have its about 300... hp was usually 230ish)

This is comparision of boost between the TD04 (red) and VF39 (blue). As you can see there is a bit of lag but it holding is so worth it (a comparision of the hp/tq shows the same things).

Good stuff. Awesome that you are tuning yourself. How did the install go?

suprisingly smooth. few little things, had to make a gasket for the tmic, had to fight with a few lines, but everything worked out nicely. Took a bit longer than expected. Like I said I still need to work on the tune, I dont know vf39's like I did the TD04 so I need to learn/research some more.

Awesome! I hope to be able to do same/similar mods soon. Right now I'm broke.

It was a remarkably smooth turbo swap. The car feels pretty strong too. I think with an upgraded fp and a little more WG duty cycle, should be able to spool even sooner and gain more torque.
