JE pistons/JE rings, Cosworth race/main bearings. You can go with rods, but they are strong enough for what you have.

I wouldnt use the sleeves, especially if you're not looking for huge power. I would buy a new block rather than boring out the old one. It will leave your cylinder walls to thin. And from what Ive read, the sleeves are known to slip as well. I think rods may be needed if you are wanting to hit close to that 28 psi mark. If not, like was mentioned, I think the stock rods should handle it as long as you dont race it often.

Sounds like the ECU might be using the Failsafe OL Fueling map. What kind of EM were you tuned on? Can you post up some datalogs? Its possible that your IAM dropped for some reason and the car is using the failsafe fueling and timing maps. This would explain the loss in power.

If you know someone with one, Id suggest asking to borrow it. Checking your tune is free, unlike a compression test or building your block.

its does sound like a fail safe map, but resetting the ecu should cause it to go back to the normal fueling map.

if the Limit sti is stock with that stock dp he should not be out spooling you by to much. And once the turbo hits it should be a freight train.

well i may have found the problem. i used seafoam the other night, after that is when the problem began. i was talking to taylor at s and r performance and he said seafoam will make the car run like crap for awhile, but eventually fix itself. the only problem the car seems to have is that its running rich. but its weird that is drops to 10.0 and shoots back to a perfect 11.2.

first if your hitting full boost at 4200, thats off. dom 3 is capable hitting full boost at 3200 to 3600 depending on setups, anywhere from 22psi to 26psi easly. being ball bearing helps. mine is 22psi at 3400, maybe sooner.
second if full boost is in fact at 4200 the 07 stock should be 14.7psi at around 3600rpm (again this is stock tune). even at this rate you should be pulling him with no problem whats so ever, if your tune is right.

my car with a dom 3, i think my afr stars at about 11.0 at WOT and works its way up to 11.3. i'll double check. 10.0 is rich that instead of making power your probably losing power. i dont even think stock tune is that rich. its probaly why he's keeping up with you. he's making more power down low cuz he not running as rich down low with stock turbo.

wow, how could you forget to mention something like that? not trying to be an asshole but honestly before you go trying to diagnose whether its the turbo, engine, tune, install, etc... you should probably mention something like "i did this and right afterwards it started running poorly"

lol, hopefully thats all it is. good luck
